I am by no means a bona fide "foodie". I just love food, expect good service & appreciate quality.

My partner is Vegan so I hope to share both of our perspectives on our meals. In my experience a restaurant that cares equally for the Vegetarians, Vegans & those with other dietary needs as its ordinary patrons have experienced & highly creative staff in the kitchen. Because most of my meals are with my Vegan partner most of the restaurants I will review will be ones that cater to Vegans as well as ordinary folk.

I do not work in or have ties to the food service industry, however I did many years ago in another community. These reviews are simply a snapshot of the experience I have had. I want to share these experiences with you so that when you ask yourself that dreaded question of where to eat - you have a place to start. I hope these honest reviews provide you some assistance in determining where you would like to eat...and spend your hard earned money. - Sarah Redd

Vegan Perspective: They didn't have anything on the menu that was vegan and the best they would do for an accommodation was to make a salad.  Really no effort there to accommodate the vegan. 0/5
Dessert: N/A
Service: Horrible - not the server but from the kitchen. 1/5
Atmosphere: Didn't stay long enough to really make a comment.

Comments: This restaurant was formerly Shaunessy's Cove and has been reno'd and has new ownership.  It has two sides - a bar side and a restaurant side.  With it's water front location, we thought that this would be a nice place to go for a casual meal.  Because they simply would not/could not accommodate the vegan, we left and went to Vallarta's in Penticton for some great mexican food.
